More About Me

Seattle Native

Seattle has always been my home. Over the years I have watched Seattle develop into neighborhoods with distinct personalities. It is common for urban neighborhoods to integrate their homes, parks and schools with new amenities; local cafes, shops, Light Rail, brand new apartments and big businesses all within blocks of each other. Culture, art, history and diversity all add richness to these neighborhoods. For me, it is really interesting to see these changes and neighborhoods develop their own personality. At the same time, I hope a careful balance between new housing, Light Rail, businesses and the original character of every neighborhood is respected.

Over the last 26 years, I have experienced several cycles of the real estate market. I have experienced the late 1990's of multiple offers and anxious Buyers. Also through the recession period of short sales beginning in 2008, and now the market we are currently experiencing; where people are working exclusively from home or a hybrid between home and office. There are also a significant group of International clients that are both Buyers and Sellers. Overall many qualified Buyers, both first-time and investment Buyers. I bring to my clients my knowledge and experience of the real estate market regarding neighborhood transitions, the local housing market trends and my success in helping others find their dream home or moving on. More importantly, I have experience in preparing a property for sale and negotiating for a Seller. In turn I know how to prepare an offer for a Buyer that best represents what they can offer in light of what the Seller would appreciate.  I enjoy my job and thankful for the wonderful people I have met over the years as a real estate broker, and that is what makes my job one of the best for me.

We Work As a Team

Whether I am working for a Seller or a Buyer I feel we are a team working towards the same goal. If you are a Buyer, my goal is to successfully help you find your new home or investment property within your timeframe.  In our current market that takes being creative, attentive to the market and lots of communicating and negotiating with the Seller's agent.  I know what questions to ask in this market in order to prepare the best offer for the Buyer. I work to keep the process grounded with as much information as possible so the Buyer can make a sound decision.

If you are selling your property, I believe preparing the property, pricing, marketing and negotiating must be perfectly executed. The asking price must be fair and meet the market value to both the prospective Buyer and lender, while also covering Seller expenses. I understand that Sellers want to reap the most for their years of homeowner investments and maintenance.

In summary, whether you are in the position of purchasing real estate or selling your property, it takes planning. Here are some of the things I can provide you; preparation of your property, your offer or expectations, being realistic, communication, flexibility, negotiating, ask the right questions, honesty, abide by all the State of Washington real estate rules/laws, professionalism, service, creativeness, knowledge and 26 years of experience. I enjoy meeting new people and making a difference. In order to make all transactions go smoothly, you need these characteristics in a broker.  Every transaction is different. Contact me and perhaps I can help you too.

Selling an estate? Relocation? Senior in transition? I have worked with individuals in all of these situations. I have a network of dedicated professionals e.g. contractors, title/escrow officers, inspectors, lenders that can assist us through all situations to make this a smooth transition for you. Just tell me what is important to you and we will work as a team to make this happen.

Designations, Award and Member

  • Accredited Buyer Representative: I do this every day; listen to my clients, read in between the lines and look at properties as if I was the Buyer. It truly begins with listening to my client.
  • Accredited Staging Professional: With years of experience, I always tell all sellers, "marketing a home for sale is different than how we live in a home". And that is why my suggestions to a seller are with the foresight of how can I best present this property so it feels and looks like a property a Buyer will love. I want the Appraiser to evaluate the property fairly and place value on the features (view, location, updates, buyer demand) in her report. “Flow”, paint color, minimizing and constructive fixes can make a difference in producing success.
  • Senior Real Estate Specialist: Certified to help those that want to transition out of their home to another lifestyle. I understand the emotional needs for the senior resident, in addition to the real estate needs.
  • Award: “Seattle Magazine” Five Star Home Professional for Client Satisfaction, winner for 14 years
  • National Association of Realtors:  Member for 26 years
